The filming for our Juno task in my opinion was very successful. To make sure we had a perfect shot of each scene we filmed each shot twice to make sure we made it perfect. We also filmed all of our shots in the order they appear in the opening scene so that when it came to editing it was easy to find the appropriate clip. Filing was also successful because we were given an hour to film all the footage we needed and managed to get all the scenes within the time given.
Was your storyboard accurate?
The storyboard we created for the film opening I found to be very accurate. This is because when we were filming we had pour story board with us and as we had written down the specific timings and what type of shot needed to be used we were able to make good footage.
What were your strengths and weaknesses in the group?
Within my group the strengths shown were the cameraman knew how to work the camera well which meant we had good shots for the footage. Another strength in the group was we managed to finish filing in good time and we all worked very well together to make sure the filming was good and accurate.
Did you get all the footage you needed?
In my group we managed to get all of the footage that we needed. As we shot each clip twice we were able to have extra footage if one went wrong or some footage got lost. As we managed our time well it was easy to get all of the footage that we needed and managed to not miss out any clips.
What technical skills either camera or premiere did you learn? How does it compare to the original?
From this task I've learnt how to angle the camera for different types of shots. As the opening of Juno uses many different camera angles our group had to find ways of positioning the camera to make sure the shots were at the right angle. Although I did not shoot the scenes I saw how members of the team would hold the camera and walk with it whilst doing a tracking shot. I also learnt how to use camera equipment that I have not used before such as a tripod.
I gained many skills of how to use premiere for editing when I edited the dancing animals and James Bond clips. However I gained many more skills when editing our Juno task. This is because we had to make sure our version and the real version were edited to be playing at the exact same time as each other so we had to get every element of the editing correct. As the original Juno clip uses many different transitions i also learnt how to add more of them into my clips.

I also think we worked very well as a team together as we all had a role to play in making the task and the end result was very successful.
